Monday and Wednesday we talked about the searches customers run on you. Tonight, beat them to it. Open one incognito window (so you see what a stranger sees, not your logged-in version) and run these three searches on your own business. Ten minutes, and you'll never look at your listing the same way again.

Search 1: Your exact business name. What's the very first thing that loads? You want a complete, claimed Google profile and your website up top — photo, hours, reviews, all current. Red flags: a bare listing, outdated info, an old address, or a competitor's ad sitting above you. This is your front door. Make sure it's the one they walk through.
Search 2: Your business name + "reviews." Look through a customer's eyes, not an owner's. Is the rating above 4 stars? Is the newest review recent, or is it gathering dust? Did you reply to them — the good and the bad? If the freshest thing here is a year old, that's your weekend project.
Search 3: Your service + "near me" (or your city). Now you're the customer comparison-shopping. Do you even appear in the top three of the map? Line your profile up against the two next to you — who has more reviews, better photos, more complete info? Whatever they have that you don't is your exact to-do list.

Write down what you find. Three searches, three honest notes, and you've got a punch list built from exactly what's costing you customers. Most owners never do this — which is precisely why doing it puts you ahead of the business down the street.
